UNIFY Intercultural Family Day Out

A group of us all from different multi-cultural background are holding an intercultural family type event at Shaftesbury Community centre. 

During this event proposed for Sunday June 3rd 2012, there will be a provision for food, music and all sorts of playing activities for the kids such as face painting, sports, dancing competition, bouncy castle and so on. The 3g pitch, dance studio and main hall will be available for our use.

The aim of the summer family day out is to become a forum whereby there will be an intercultural means of communication showcasing for example African/Caribbean’s rich diversity and Eastern European’s culture that are unknown to many of us. We will be able to show anyone and everyone the real meaning of cultural landscape. The showcasing will be original and that’s what will give the event a unique audience. By doing this, we are showing Northern Irish people how we can be part of the changing faces in this country.
