TQUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training

It will not fully qualify you as a teacher, but it will give you a good idea of what it’s like to teach. You can then take a further teaching qualification if required. The Award is ideal if you are not yet in a teaching role, have just started teaching, or just want to know what’s involved. It is the first step on the teaching qualifications' ladder. 

The Award is made up of the following three units at level 3 on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF)

• Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
• Understanding assessment in education and training
• Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training

Classroom sessions will be held from 10am-4pm on the following dates:

• 6 October 2016
• 13 October 2016
• 20 October 2016 and 
• On 10 November 2016 you will be required to deliver a 30 minute micro-teaching session as part of the assessment process.
