"Special Educational needs" - A Children's Rights Perspective

This half day training seminar aims to increase understanding of the legal rights of children with special educational needs and will provide guidance on the assessment, statementing and appeal process.

The event will be held at Children's Law Centre offices on the 25 November 2009, from 9.30am - 12.30pm and will be delivered by Rachel Hogan (SENDIST, CLC) and Liam Mackle (Advice Line Manager, CLC).

Target audience to include advice workers, teachers, social workers, parents/carers and those providing legal representation for children at education tribunals.  Please book early as we anticipate high demand for this training.
