Skimboarding is a sport that very few people in N.I. seem to know about, and yet it is a fast growing, fit-for-all fun activity. Skimboarding = water + board + preferably some sunshine which we hope for in May. It is easy to learn and once you get a feel for it you do not want to stop.
We will host a team of European - level competitors who will teach you how to skimboard but also show their skills during special shows.
NMT ST will take place in up to 3 different locations on 12th (confirmed), 14th (TBC) and 16th (confirmed) May.
We are currently talking to 2 Univerities about places, and things are looking good. Until we get the formal clearance on paper, however, we will let the locations be a secret for now. The fun will be enhanced by DJ performances. Participants will also get a chance to join in a conversation about human trafficking.
