Serious incident reporting – what trustees need to know

NICVA

NICVA

Cost: Free

Charity trustees will most likely be aware that they are responsible for reporting serious incidents from within their charity to the Charity Commission.

The Commission has now prepared guidance for consultation which will help trustees to determine what a serious incident is and when they need to report on it.  The Commission will present the draft guidance at this seminar and would welcome the views/comments of participants.

At the seminar, NICVA will present some useful governance tips on how trustees can help to protect themselves and their charity, namely by using risk management to help identify potential risks thereby reducing the risk of having serious incidents in the first place.

Please let your committee or board of trustees/directors know about this event.

The event takes place on Tuesday, 13 June 2017 from 2pm to 4pm in NICVA, Belfast.
