The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service

The Office of the Third Sector in the Cabinet Office invites you and your colleagues to attend an exclusive event in Limavady, County Londonderry to find out more about the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, a National Honour equivalent to the MBE.

Since Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee, the Queen has awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service to hundreds of groups across the UK in recognition of the outstanding contributions they make to their local communities.

Hosted by Lord-Lieutenants Dr Donal Keegan OBE and Denis Desmond Esq CBE, the event offers eligible groups and all those able to encourage, make and support their nomination, the chance to learn more about this prestigious Award.

Previous winners from the region will also be present, to share inspirational stories about what winning has meant for their own groups and the difference it has made to the work they do within their communities and those who benefit from it.
