During the day, participants will: 

  • Consider what is meant by the term "Vulnerable Adults" 
  • Increase their awareness of different types of abuse 
  • Examine the indicators of abuse in relation to Vulnerable Adults 
  • Consider the issue of consent in relation to the Protection of Vulnerable Adults from abuse 
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities for reporting abuse 
  • Consider how to respond to any disclosure of abuse
