Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency
Participants wanted for focus groups in Belfast, 3-4 October
The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency is holding focus groups to help us develop a survey question on sexual identity/orientation. The focus groups will explore people’s views on being asked about their sexual identity, the wording of a question and how it should be designed for a self-completion survey.
We are looking for heterosexual/straight men, heterosexual/straight women, gay men, gay/lesbian women, bisexual men and bisexual women aged 16 and over to take part in a group in Belfast on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 October.
We’d like to include people from a range of backgrounds and household types – living alone, living with a spouse/partner, living with related adults (e.g. parents, adult children, siblings) and living with unrelated adults (e.g. in flat/house share).
The focus group will last one to one and a half hours. Participants will receive £15 in vouchers as a thank you for taking part.
We will maintain strict confidence.
If you would like to take part, please contact us as soon as possible at:
