Pension Provision and Auto-enrolment Seminar Derry~Londonderry
Youthnet
Youthnet is facilitating an essential seminar on Pension Provision and Auto-enrolment for the voluntary youth sector
Pensions Seminar - Preparing for Auto-enrolment
This is an essential seminar if you are a voluntary youth organisation and you have at least one employee.
It is particularly relevant to voluntary management committees whose employees are paid directly through an Education and Library Board
Changes to the law on pensions mean that all employers (e.g. voluntary youth work providers with at least one member of staff) have a legal responsibility to automatically enrol certain workers into a qualifying pension scheme. Employers are also obliged to make a minimum contribution on behalf of their employees and communicate these changes to them.
Youthnet is hosting a seminar aimed at supporting voluntary youth sector employers to meet their legal obligations in relation to pension legislation.
Gary Tate of Lucas Fettes & Partners Financial Services Ltd will:
- Provide an overview of employer responsibilities in relation to auto enrolment
- Outline some of the options available to employers
- Discuss a possible action plan for management committees going forward
