The past in the present: examining the role of personal testimony from conflict

Queen's University Belfast and PRONI invite you to a presentation and panel discussion examining the role of personal testimony from conflict on Tuesday 2 May, 1.30pm to 4pm.

Individual stories from conflict make a major contribution to understanding the ‘other’, and offer new ways of thinking beyond the traditional narratives of sectarianism. Using the Prisons Memory Archive as context the panel examines the role of personal testimony, each member reflecting on the challenges and opportunities it brings, through their own unique lens.

Refreshments from 1.30pm.
