Our exciting new course 'Oh Baby' is for pregnant mothers and new mums and dads.
The course will give both expectant and new parents the opportunity to learn important skills to enable them to know what to do should an incident occur with their baby. It will also provide an opportunity to talk with other parents-to-be and new parents to share experiences, advice and provide support in a relaxed setting.
The course is held on Wednesday 13 April and will last for 3 hours from 6pm - 9pm. The cost of the course is £20 per participant and includes light refreshments.

Volunteer NowTraining/AdviceThis course is aimed at individuals who recruit, manage or supervise staff and volunteers working with children and/or adults. It will examine the procedures that need to be put in place for effective recruitment and selection of staff and volunteers including requirements under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (NI) Order, the current and former definitions of regulated activity and how to exercise careful judgement when assessing information on an Access NI Disclosure Certificate. It will also look at the procedures required for the effective management of staff and volunteers including induction and training, breach of code of behaviour and referral to the Disclosure and Barring Service.- - -
