NCB NI/QUB Seminar 'Using Evidence to Improve Outcomes for Children and Young People'

This event aims to explore what resources/approaches are available to support organisations when using evidence to inform better outcomes for children and young people.

As part of the 10 -year Strategy for Children and Young People, the government has pledged:

"To deliver improved outcomes for all children and young people, we will ensure that all future policies developed and services offered to, and accessed by, children and young people, are based on identified need and on evidence about what works"

Our Children and Young People - Our Pledge 2006 - 2016

This half-day seminar is for the voluntary and public sector. This event seeks to explore the challenges faced by researchers and service providers in attempting to make this pledge a reality to improve outcomes for children and young people.

The event will be chaired by Celine McStravick (Director of NCB Northern Ireland) and will include the following speakers:

We will also invite poster presentations/information sharing to promote ongoing examples of evidence based interventions to improve outcomes for children and young people in the region. A buffet lunch will be provided.
