The Ulster Cancer Foundation (UCF), in association
with the Pink Pedallers, is holding its first ‘Midnight Bunny Walk’ in Omagh on
Friday 21st May to raise funds to help local women and their
families who have been affected by breast cancer.

You can ‘hop’ (or walk!) around the 1 mile route,
starting at 12 midnight from Main
Street, Omagh for a registration fee of only £10
(kids go free!).  Everyone who takes part
will receive free flashing bunny ears and a goody bag, kindly sponsored by Lidl
Northern Ireland.

Sylvia Lucy from UCF said, “We are hopping with excitement at
holding UCF’s first ‘Midnight Bunny Walk’ in Omagh.  The money raised from the walk will be used
to help provide care and support services for local women and their families
who have been affected by breast cancer.
All bunnies are welcome to register from 11pm on Main Street, Omagh on Friday 21st
May with the walk starting at midnight.
Entertainment will be provided by Fiddler Adam appearing courtesy of RUE.  The one-mile, street-lit, circle route will
be marshalled throughout and we hope that this special fundraising event
catches the imagination of the community who can enjoy the walk while raising
vital funds for UCF.”

The Midnight Bunny
Walk is one of a number of UCF fundraising events being held in association
with the Pink Pedallers - a group of cycling enthusiasts from Omagh, Drumquin,
Carrickmore and Enniskillen who are taking part in a 400 mile ‘Think Pink! Bike
Challenge’ from Mizen Head to Malin Head on 26th – 29th
May 2010.  If you would like to support the Pink Pedallers in their cycling challenge you
can take part in the Midnight Bunny Walk or you can make a donation at www.justgiving.com/The-Pink-Pedallers
