Level 3 Paediatric First Aid 12 Hour Course
Employers For Childcare
The course covers the common illnesses and injuries that can occur in children.
The course will be delivered over 3 days from Monday 15 - Wednesday 17 June 2015 from 6pm - 10pm at Employers For Childcare Charitable Group in Lisburn at a cost of £60* per participant.
*The course is discounted to £50 to childcarers who successfully completed the recruitment process with Childcare Solutions.
The topics covered include:
- Aims and principles of first aid
- Anaphylaxis
- Asthma
- Bleeding
- Burns
- Choking
- Management of unconscious casualty
- Basic Life Support (CPR)
- Head injuries
- Other specific childhood conditions
On successful completion of the course and continual assessment, the delegate will receive a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certificate. This is valid for three years.
