Lessons in Life

Paul was apprehensive on his very first day as an English teacher. As he heads off to meet his first class of sixth formers, he wonders if he will be able to inspire them and will they share his love for learning.

Paul was apprehensive on his very first day as an English teacher. As he heads off to meet his first class of sixth formers, he wonders if he will be able to inspire them and will they share his love for learning.
With his father’s support, Paul is confident that he will be able to convince his students that school days really can be the best days of our lives.
But can generational differences be overcome?

Come along and see what happens…

“Lessons in Life has given us the opportunity to explore relevant issues such as identity, education and employment. CAYT provides the space and freedom to engage, interact and create theatre that is meaningful and vital to all involved.
One of the most rewarding experiences has been witnessing the process of knowledge-sharing between the older and younger people, a key part of any intergenerational project”.

- Andrea Grimason, Director -
