This project supported by the NE Peace III Partnership is open to community representatives working/volunteering in the NE area. The workshop will provide insight into what is on offer and how it will be delivered.
There are 60 places available to community representatives on this project. They will start the learning programme in Sept 2012 and the project continues until Sept 2013. There is an accredited course followed by a series of workshops, site visits and coaching sessions. There is parallel training delivered to 40 councillors from the area and halfway through community reps and councillors will start learning together. This culminates in the design and delivery of 6 local peace building projects (one in each council area).
