his workshop deals with raising the awareness of those involved in working with or providing services to children (up to age 18). It is based on the principles of good practice and covers residential and field trips in addition to provision of services or activities. Aims & Objectives; * To promote the principles of good practice in child protection, as outlined in the pack - Our Duty to Care. * To support and facilitate voluntary/community groups working with children and young people to consider child protection issues. * To assist organisations to take appropriate action in light of their circumstances, structures and activities.
