Holywell STEW 2
Holywell Trust
Holywell STEW - a new initiative of Holywell Trust - enabling local people to support each other.
Do you fancy a different kind of night out?
Would you like to support community action in the city?
The Holywell STEW project offers a different way to spend an evening. For a small fee (£10) you will be served a nice meal and help to decide which projects receive a micro grant to support the people of this city.
Over 3 community dinner events 12 projects will pitch for support and the people at the dinners will vote on the projects to receive the support. This isn’t a ‘Dragon’s Den’ approach, we’re a much friendlier bunch.
Every organisation that takes part in the programme will receive support and training on preparing and delivering their pitch. It will be up to you to vote for the project you most like the look of.
This project is about local people helping each other. The available funds are the resources collected at the door.
We’d love to see you at the Holywell STEW community dinners. Tickets cost £10 each (which is used as the prize for the successful project) and spaces are limited. This second event will take place on Wednesday 14th June at 7.00pm.
Tickets can be purchased from the reception at HOLYWELL - DiverseCity Community Partnership building in Bishop Street or online through Eventbrite. Feel free to bring a bottle of refreshment of your choice.
All Holywell STEW events will be held at our shared community building, HOLYWELL - DiverseCity Community Partnership, 8-14 Bishop Street. We look forward to welcoming you!
