Free Training on Housing Debt

OCN Accredited Training on Housing Debt Prevention of Homelessness as a Consequence of Housing Debt Free places currently available

Does your work bring you into contact with clients who have debt problems?

  • Do your clients have mortgage or rent arrears?
  • Do your clients face losing their home as a result of their housing debt?

 

If you work in a voluntary or community based organisation and can answer "yes" to these questions, you may be eligible for a free place on the above training course.

 

Course details

 

This 2 day course covers:

  • Negotiations to enable clients to remain in their home;
  • Dealing with mortgage arrears;
  • Dealing with rent arrears;
  • Rehousing options.

 

The course will be delivered in:

  • Belfast 10th & 11th February 2010;
  • Londonderry/Derry 16th & 23rd March 2010.

 

In the event of over subscription, free places will be allocated according to the policies and procedures of Housing Rights Service.
