Community Places is holding a free planning advice session for individuals and community groups in the offices of the Rural Community Network, 38a Oldtown Street, Cookstown. The drop-in event runs from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 30 September 2014.

On Tuesday, 30 September 2014 Community Places will be at RCN’s offices, 38a Oldtown Street, Cookstown between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm to provide independent advice on all kinds of planning issues in towns, rural areas and villages. This is one of a series of free drop-in planning advice days where we will provide information and guidance on how to make a planning application for a new house extension or conversion and renewable energy technologies such as solar panels or wind turbines.

We can also provide advice on how to object to a development in your area, how planning deals with development that is built without planning permission and information on the changes in the planning system when planning moves to the new councils. There is no need to make an appointment. If you are not able to attend the advice session we can also provide planning advice by telephone.

Community Places is an independent charity which provides free planning advice to people and communities who cannot afford private consultants.  For more information please contact us on 9023 9444.
