Health Matters have developed this training course to suit the needs of various different occupational sectors, providing specialist training to nominated staff who will assume the role and responsibility of being a Fire Warden/Marshal.

Course Aims:
Health Matters (Health & Safety) Ltd have developed this training course to suit the needs of various different occupational sectors, providing specialist training to nominated staff who will assume the role and responsibility of being a Fire Warden/Marshal within their respective department or work place.
This training is delivered by qualified Fire safety instructors with many years of services in both fire and Health & Safety.
The course content is as follows:
- Causes of fire and prevention measures – routine maintenance requirements and hazard spotting
- Managing fire safely - Incident management
- Legal responsibilities including mandatory fire checks
- The location of non-automated fire equipment
- Review of the fire escape route and the assembly points
- Dealing with disabled persons and evacuation procedures
- Fire extinguisher practical training (where required) there will be an additional cost if this is required.

- Duration: 2 ½ Hours
- Max Attendance: 15 Trainees
- Location: Health Matters premises – Newry (or at your premises for groups if required)
- Cost: £50+vat per person
