Queen's University Science Shop is hosting a conference to mark the tenth anniversary of the Living Knowledge International Science Shop network. Conference themes include sustainable development and climate change, community engagement through arts and culture, ageing and demographic change, knowledge exchange between communities and universities, and engaging students in community based research. All sessions have been designed to encourage discussion and debate. Participation from local community groups will be vital to the success of the conference. Organisations who can demonstrate that they have worked with The Science Shop will be offered a reduced conference fee of £30. More information is available on the website www.livingknowledge2009.org
