Is there a test at the end of the Course?
You will be required to complete an assignment at the end of the Course which will be based around DSE assessments.
How is the Course delivered? What will I learn?
The Course is very interactive and you will be supplied with all materials. You will learn about the Legislation, 5 steps to risk assessment, DSE requirements, health surveillance.
Who is the Course for?
All operators of Display Screen Equipment (including computers) must have a specific risk assessment completed. Learn about the Legal context and how to complete the Assessments in this short course.
We recommend that you have some knowledge or experience of Health and Safety/Risk Assessments prior to attending this course.

Volunteer NowTraining/AdviceThis course is aimed at individuals who recruit, manage or supervise staff and volunteers working with children and/or adults. It will examine the procedures that need to be put in place for effective recruitment and selection of staff and volunteers including requirements under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (NI) Order, the current and former definitions of regulated activity and how to exercise careful judgement when assessing information on an Access NI Disclosure Certificate. It will also look at the procedures required for the effective management of staff and volunteers including induction and training, breach of code of behaviour and referral to the Disclosure and Barring Service.- - -
