Driver CPC Training
The Driver CPC is a scheme for LGV (and PCV drivers) who drive professionally throughout the UK. It is being developed as a requirement of the EU Directive 2003/59, which is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of professional LGV and PCV drivers throughout their working life.
Driver Periodic Training (for all LGV existing licence holders) consisting of 5 modules each consisting of 7 hours of training, for this you will need to attend a JAUPT approved training centre and complete the 35 hours of training before 2014. All new licence holders will need to complete the 35 hours of Periodic training within 5 years of obtaining their new licence if they want to use the licence.
