All participants must have completed a child protection awareness raising course prior to attending.
It will provide:
- knowledge of the legal context of child protection;
- an understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Designated Officer;
- knowledge of Health & Social Care Trust structures and processes;
- exploration of issues and concerns around referrals and sharing information.
