What comes to mind when you read/hear this text?
"You have heard it was said, love your neighbour and hate your enemy. But I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your father in Heaven." Matthew 5 v43-48 NIV
The 2012 Corrymeela Summer School will explore this text using a variety of different and engaging techniques including;
1. Textual Analysis
2. Mediation/Lectio Divina/Liturgy
3. A Girardian analysis of enmity
4. Film Studies
The school will nest these explorations in a weave of song, art, informal chats and fireside story-telling.
