Community Walk Leader Training - Derry~Londonderry

Walking In Your Community is hosting a one day Community Walk Leader Training course at Learmount Forest, Saturday 2nd August 2014 running from 9.30am to 5pm.

Walking in Your Community is designed specifically for community group leaders and volunteers as well as club leaders and community members who wish to encourage people to get walking. Trained leaders, known as Community Walk Leaders will set up walking groups to encourage people in their local community to get out walking as part of a regular and enjoyable walking programme.

This free training course for community groups and organisations is designed to provide leaders with the essential skills to lead short, accessible, community based walks within their local green spaces. Walking in Your Community strives to support all Community Walk Leaders and provides further training opportunities to develop the walk leadership skills of these individuals.
