Common Purpose Navigator Northern Ireland

Common Purpose

Common Purpose

Cost: Further Details

Common Purpose Navigator is a modular leadership development programme for emerging leaders in the UK.

The Navigator course is aimed at senior and emerging leaders, from all sectors within Northern Ireland

Who is Common Purpose Navigator for?

People from across the UK in the early stages of their career, who already have some management responsibility. Participants are drawn from diverse backgrounds and sectors.

Common Purpose Navigator is ideal if you are grappling with questions like:

  • What kind of leader am I?
  • Do I have the ability to lead upwards and across departments in my organisation?
  • Can I manage multiple stakeholders?
  • Can I adapt to changing circumstances and surroundings?

Why Common Purpose Navigator?

Because professional development paths so often require people to narrow down and specialise early on in their careers, young talent can be ill-prepared for leadership. Common Purpose Navigator programmes counterbalance this effect.

You will develop the tools and support network to thrive during these changing times. Learning from each other’s ideas and experiences, you will explore leadership challenges in diverse workplaces and communities, while examining your personal values and professional skills as a leader.

By taking part in a Common Purpose Navigator programme you will:

  • adapt and lead in different situations and contexts
  • become more open to working with different people, in new ways, to solve complex problems
  • develop a brand new network with lasting relationships
  • take responsibility for issues outside your direct control.

The Navigator course will run from October to December 2016. There are 3 Core Days, with additional modules that can be managed to fit in with participants diaries.
