It will:

  • provide knowledge of relevant legislation;
  • highlight child protection responsibilities for management committees;
  • explore child protection issues specific to management committees;
  • explore need for effective reporting procedures;
  • explore issues around recruitment, selection and management of staff and volunteers;
  • understand the need for a code of behaviour and how it can be used by management committees.
