Celebrate the Summer and join us for a fun filled day of FREE family entertainment on Saturday 9th August at Moat Park, Dundonald, opposite the Ulster Hospital, from 12 noon – 4pm.

Organised by Castlereagh Borough Council, the Summer Festival Fun Day welcomes everyone and features a host of fantastic activities to suit all ages and tastes!

Visitors can look forward to a day full of excitement, which includes, cruising around in paddle boats, building it big in a super-sized sand pit, braving the bungee jump, watching street performances, attacking the assault course and picking up free food vouchers on the day to be used in local eateries.  Little ones can also enjoy face painting, balloon modelling and funfair rides, plus there will be a special performance from Dundonald Community Concert Band and a radio roadshow with a chance to win fantastic giveaways throughout the day!

 The Mayor of Castlereagh, Alderman Jack Beattie MBE commented “The Summer Festival Fun Day at Moat Park is a great opportunity for local communities within the Borough to come together and celebrate the Summer season.  It promises to be a great day out showcasing all that Castlereagh has to offer in terms of talent, services and produce within the Borough.  We encourage everyone to put Saturday 9th August in their diaries and come along for great day out!”

The Summer Festival Fun Day event is organised by Castlereagh Borough Council and is supported by the Northern Ireland Executive through the Department for Social DevelopmentParking on the day will be available at the Dundonald Elim Pentecostal Church, East Link Rd, Dundonald, BT16 2QR.
