Build Louder - Join Habitat's BIG BUILD 2014!

Habitat NI's Big Build event will complete the main construction project of a 3 year community empowerment programme which is focussed on 12 communities in south west Romania, supporting vulnerable groups including Roma, women, young people and children and delivering the holistic support needed to transform their future.

Big Build brings together people from across NI to build in partnership with communities in need for one BIG impact week!  Work will begin on World Habitat Day, Monday 6th October, which is a day designated by the UN to draw attention to the urgent need for shelter.

To take part in Big Build we ask each participant to raise £1850 (inc £100 non-refundable deposit). This covers your travel, in-country expenses (accommodation, food, transport etc) and a donation to Habitat's work.

Be part of something special - work alongside a local community not just to build homes but to stand beside those who have so much less than we do and raise awareness of the impact of poverty housing.
