Bake A Difference

Concern Worldwide, is calling on keen bakers from across Northern Ireland to get the aprons on and back into the kitchen to support its annual fundraising event, ‘Bake A Difference’

This October, join thousands of people from across the region who will be swapping recipes, baking and eating delicious goodies to help the charity save the lives of children suffering from severe malnutrition in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Driven by the appalling fact that malnutrition is associated with 2.7 million child deaths annually, Concern has become a world leader in the treatment of child malnutrition. However, the charity urgently needs to increase the number of villages and communities it works with to help save children’s lives. By taking part in Bake a Difference, you can help Concern achieve this important goal.

Paul Rankin, Celebrity Chef and Concern Ambassador is encouraging everyone to get registered, “This year we are going bigger than ever before and are encouraging everyone to turn the oven on and get baking to make a lasting difference to children suffering with severe malnutrition. Whether it’s at home, or at work, this is a great fundraising event that everyone will enjoy, especially with yummy cakes on offer. Register your Bake A Difference event by visiting Concern.net/Bake, call 0800 032 4001 or text 81400”.
