Access10 is the most diverse and extensive event in the 2010 community transport calendar is the place to keep your finger on the pulse and engage with influencers in the community, local authority and accessible transport sectors. Everything from green transport technologies to staving off the effects of the recession is on the agenda at this exciting event, at Manchester Central from 23-25 February 2010.

"Access10 is a vital event and is timed ideally to cover all major strategic changes in the sector," says Ewan Jones, Deputy Chief Executive of the CTA, which is running the event. "It's been a very busy year with developments around the Local Transport Act and concessionary travel that have significant impact for community transport operators. We're also noticing the effects of the recession coming through so we want to help members plan for the future".

Kellie Armstrong Director for Northern Ireland confirmed "The CTA provides advice, support and learning opportunities for the voluntary and community sector to ensure everyone has access to the servcies they need. Access10 provides an opportunity for transport providers to meet and share best practice and to learn from opportunities taken across the UK. The event enables Northern Irish community transport providers to meet their colleagues from across UK and Ireland, to talk with vehicle suppliers and see first hand innovative vehicle solutions to improve transport for people with disabilities and older people".

The event features a free exhibition, with companies from across the sector, and exhibition visitors can enjoy free technical, legal and operational briefing sessions over the course of the three days. In addition to the briefings, there are a wealth of seminars, training and networking events, and a series of partner events to take part in.  Tuesday 23 February also see the third CTA Annual Awards Dinner take place, where over 250 people will celebrate the best of the sector with the winners of an expanded range of awards.
