NJC Pay Update - 2009 Award negotiations
The 2009 NJC cost of living award is still under negotiation between the employers and trade unions.
An offer of a 0.3% increase was made in April 2009 by the employers but this was rejected by the trade unions and as a result the employers threatened to withdraw the offer. However, the employers have now indicated that the offer of 0.3% still stands but trade unions remain hopeful that an improved offer can be made.
