Members of the House of Commons voted Wed 1 February to reject the Lords’ proposal calling for social tenants with one spare room to be exempt from new ‘under-occupancy penalties’ linked to housing benefit.

Bill Osborne was originally appointed as Chairperson of Building Change Trust Limited – the corporate trustee of The Building Change Trust in late December 2008 for an initial three year term. This appointment has now been extended for a further 12 months
