As part of the Celebrate Belfast programme, Belfast City Council are asking community and sporting groups in the city to join in the celebrations!
Applications to the Community Fund are now invited for events in communities over the period of May – December 2006 and are welcome from organisations working in the Belfast City Council area with a community focus.
The minimum that can be applied for is £1,500 and although each application will be considered on its own merits, it is expected that applications from individual organisations should be for support in the region of £3,000 - £4,000.
Please note that any organisations who received funding through the Celebrate Belfast 2006 Cultural Fund are not eligible to apply to the Community Fund.
The deadline for applications is: 12 NOON ON TUESDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 2006
It is strongly advised that groups who apply attend funding advice clinics which will run throughout the 14th – 21st February. Appointments for these clinics can be made at the details below.
