From the outset, supporting the Social Economy has been a key strand in the EU Urban II Community Initiative. Administered by the North Belfast Partnership, the programme has helped community groups to plan and launch social enterprises in support of their social goals.
Phase 2 of the programme is now open to applications from individuals or organisations that:
- Want to know more about the Social Economy
- Have a social enterprise idea and want to create a business plan
- Have a completed business plan and want to “make it happen”
- Run an existing social enterprise and want management support
To obtain a brochure and application form, contact the Social Economy Development Manager:
028 9075 2990 or
michael.paul@nthbp.org
Alternatively, the documents may be downloaded at the North Belfast Partnership website: www.nthbp.org (publications section)
Applications should be returned by 4.00pm on Friday 2 March 2007.
