A new report launched by the National Trust on the economic impact of the environment
The beauty of the environment of Northern Ireland is one of its greatest assets. Our environment is important not only for our quality of life, but also as an important contributor to the region’s economy. As this rich natural and historic environment comes under increasing pressure from development, and as agriculture, which has shaped much of our landscape, undergoes decline and major change, it is more important than ever for us to understand the value of the environment we have inherited.
