A study tour coordinated by Concordia will travel to Edinburgh, Fife and Dundee in September to learn from the scottish experience of community planning.
The aim is to establish links, enhance skills and broaden the knowledge base of both the social partners and non-social partners who are involved in community planning in Northern Ireland.
Funded places
A group of 16 people from Northern Ireland will be selected to participate in the tour which is open to both social and non-social Anticipated Benefits

Concordia will fund social partner representatives who are selected, using funding under Measure 4.1 (Networking in Europe and Beyond) of the EU’s Peace II programme.
Non-social partners may participate but must be able to cover their own expenses - in the region of £400 to £450 - and should write to Concordia to express their interest.

Expectations
Participants will be expected to attend a pre-tour briefing, complete evaluation forms and prepare a post-tour group report giving recommendations and conclusions. The report will be used to share information across the sectors and assist Concordia with future policy development.
