I am just going to scoot around Connswater

Shopmobility Belfast is providing electric scooters, powered and manual wheelchairs. It enables people with mobility problems to use the wide range of shops, services and entertainments with greater freedom, independence and dignity.

Our service is free and open to everyone. At the moment our organisation has more than 5.000 members. In responds to demand we are expanding our outreach services. We have branches all over the city, including Westgate House 2 Queen Street and Shopping Centres such as CastleCourt, Forestside, Connswater, Westwood and Park Centre.

On 31 October – Halloween - Julian Simmons, local TV personality, will be officially launching our service, and initiates work at Connswater Shopping Centre as the fourth full time fixed location for Shopmobility Belfast

Users reported that by being able to access services and locations they have experienced new levels of independence and confidence:

You can also enjoy your live more easily! All you have to do is become a Member of Shopmobility Belfast. It is free and simple to do. Just bring identification into one of our branch, eg at Connswater Shopping Centre (Mon-Fri 10am- 3pm) and you will become a member of one of the fastest growing membership organisation in Belfast.
