The charity will henceforth be known as the Bryson Charitable Group.

Bryson House launched its centenary year with a new name and new corporate identity. The charity offers a range of services including recycling, energy efficiency advice services, training and education schemes and care and social services. It assists nearly half a million people a year in Northern Ireland.
Joining the celebrations, Minister for Social Development David Hanson MP said:
John Steele, Chairman of the charity, said:
Activities to mark this milestone include publication of an anniversary book detailing the history of the charity, an open garden on 18 June 2006 at Rosemount in Greyabbey and an ecumenical service of thanksgiving at St Anne’s Cathedral on 1 October 2006.
John McMullan, Co-Executive Director, added:
The charity was behind such major innovations as establishing both Northern Ireland’s first Citizens Advice Bureau and its first Legal Aid clinic. Its pioneering recycling service is a recent example of its enterprising and entrepreneurial way of addressing social and environmental need, while its care services help thousands of vulnerable adults each year. In total, the charity operates more than thirty different schemes.
Bryson Charitable Group is one of Northern Ireland's largest charities. It employs more than 500 people and its annual turnover last year was £12.7million. More than 75 per cent of its revenue is generated through public sector contracts awarded on a competitive basis.
