The ARC (NI) Disclosure Service

Do you employ staff or involve volunteers who require criminal records checks? Are you up to speed with the new ACCESS NI Procedures? The ARC (NI) Disclosure Service can provide support to organisations; ensuring applications to the service are completed accurately and efficiently.

ARC (NI) is an organisation with a track record in providing training and support to organisations within the social care sector. We are registered with ACCESS NI, as an umbrella organisation, to check applications and support employers to meet their duty under the new legislation.

Did you know that over 3,000 applications are rejected monthly in Great Britain because they are incomplete or completed inaccurately? In terms of expense and delay, this can be extremely costly to organisations. Our service will ensure that applications are error free and that queries are dealt with confidently and efficiently. It is especially effective for smaller organisations that may not have the resources to set up administration systems, or to pay an additional registration charge to set up their own service. With the ARC (NI) Disclosure Service, you only pay for the checks you need.

Additionally, experienced staff will also provide organisations that use the service with guidance on returned information, advice on changes to procedure and training on useful topics, such as involving people with convictions.

If you think your organisation could benefit from this service, give us a call to discuss your requirements.

For further information contact the ARC (NI) Disclosure Service Manager, Mariead Magill on 028 9075 1454 or at mariead.magill@caresector.net.
