A free, accredited training programme for those who want to be qualified trainers.

  1. A FREE 30 week training programme for those intending to become qualified trainers.
  2. You will gain the Certificate in Training Practice accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
  3. Requires you to attend five hours per week.

Who is eligible to apply?

Lone parents with dependent children who are currently employed in a role with an element of training and development responsibilities.

Entry requirements

All students must have basic literacy and numeracy skills as there is an academic element to the programme.

How much does it cost?

  • The course is free of charge. All associated costs including CIPD subscription and membership fees will be paid for you.
  • Help is available towards the cost of childcare and travel.
