Essential Criteria

  1. Experience of word processing in an office environment.
  2. Experience of working with Microsoft Access.

Desirable

  1. European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent qualification.

Salary Scale: £12,381 - £14, 106

Main Duties

  1. Maintenance of diaries for project staff.
  2. Organising and servicing meetings.
  3. Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail.
  4. Typing letters, memos and reports as required.
  5. Maintenance of petty cash, in line with policy.
  6. Operating word processor and setting up of spreadsheets and databases.
  7. Dealing with telephone enquiries.
  8. Liaison with various organisations and agencies.
  9. Maintenance of filing system.
  10. Pay-roll responsibilities and maintenance of accounts.
  11. Inputting statistical information into databases for research purposes and tracking missing information to ensure information bank is fully up to date.
  12. Any other duties as required.
