This is a key role within the department and the post holder will be responsible for securing sponsorship for a range of projects including Sport, Culture and Arts and important University events.
The post holder will have responsibility for writing proposals, making presentations, managing relationships and projects, and proactively investigating new opportunities.
Applicants must hold a degree or an equivalent qualification and have a minimum of three years’ experience of corporate fundraising in the Higher Education, voluntary or arts sectors, or in a Marketing or Sales environment.
Good writing, presentation and organisational skills are essential as is demonstrable experience of meeting financial targets. Computer literacy particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and Access is also required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and dedicated team and to raise funds for projects with wide-ranging impact.
Salary Scale: £26,402-£34,448 per annum.
