Craigavon Intercultural Programme requires a Migrant Women’s Support Worker to develop and maintain a programme for female migrants from a variety of nationalities

20 hours per week- flexibility required
Salary NJC 24 (£19,614.00) Pro Rata
Contract to 31 March 2009 – continuation subject to funding

  • The ideal candidate will be computer literate and have a third level education or equivalent. The candidate must display a good working knowledge of services offered to BME communities and at least two year’s experience working with women and families from a variety of migrant communities in a paid or voluntary capacity and be fluent in English.
  • A second language is desirable.
  • The candidate will have excellent organizational skills, effective interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate a strong good relation’s ethos.
  • The candidate must be a team worker and have the ability to work on their own. Candidate must have a clean driving license with access to a car.
