The Alzheimer’s Society is the leading care and research charity for people with dementia, their carers and families.

The Society currently has a job opportunity, based at their Belfast office.

Carer Support Coordinator (Belfast)
£3,098 per annum for 25 hours per month

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced individual to develop and organise a range of support services for carers of people with dementia in the Belfast area.

1. The post holder will provide information, emotional support and sign posting of services to the user groups.
2. They will have experience of group work, one to one support, working on their own initiative and as part of a team.
3. They will also have experience of working in a developmental role and with professionals in a community/youth/social services/health services.
4. A Criminal Records Bureau disclosure will be required.
