The User Experience Officer will ensure that A2B’s products and processes are both accurate and user friendly. This will require development of Quality Assurance measurements to ensure that all modifications to any systems or processes are subject to rigorous validity and usability testing before being released to the public. This will also require working with Community Development staff to ensure that A2B’s engagement ethos is widely communicated and adhered to.

Ensuring usability will also require monitoring usage statistics, evaluating and responding to user feedback, and working in collaboration with the Training team to develop materials to help users work with the tools. The User Experience Officer will also collaborate with the Training and Outreach teams to build general awareness of the most popular features of the service, and provide promotional support via collected testimonials about the service.

This role will also serve as the primary user ombudsperson within the organisation, to ensure that user confidentiality is being rigorously upheld and that Data Protection requirements are being applied across the organisation’s activities.
