This is a part time post, 16-20 hours per week, salary £16,000- £18,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience.
The Girls Worker will assist the Coordinator in the development of Youth Initiatives Downpatrick Project, in particular the Inter Church Initiative and the Detached Programme.
This entails connecting with young people (young women in particular), organising youth events, working with a volunteer team, street work, one to one and small group work, planning and preparation As a YI staff member, the Girls Worker is also expected to attend YI staff meetings and training, and other YI projects and events as required.
