This is an exciting time for us. We are setting up a brand-new Employment Service to help people with learning disabilities find and keep work. Could you help us make it a success from day one?
This vital role will see you supporting the Service Manager and the team in the delivery of an effective and responsive service. Key challenges will include marketing the service to potential partners, establishing links within the local community and ensuring that our targets are met. You’ll also work with and support people with a learning disability, so an understanding of the barriers to employment they face is crucial. Leadership and communication skills are important too, along with a proactive approach and knowledge of the employment market as a whole.
